Association of Antibody-Dependent Neutrophil Phagocytosis With Distinct Antibody Glycosylation Profiles Following Typhoid Vaccination

چکیده

Typhoid Vi-conjugate vaccines (Vi-TCV) have been developed to control typhoid fever in children endemic regions. Previously, a human challenge model of typhoid, Vi-TCV was administered prior deliberate ingestion Salmonella Typhi by healthy adult volunteers the UK. Vi-specific antibody-dependent neutrophil phagocytosis (ADNP) associated with protection against enteric this model, but it is not known if ADNP induced vaccination children. We measured cohort Nepalese receiving field study investigate whether functional antibody responses were also present an setting. Furthermore, we investigated relationships between measures and other properties response, including Vi-IgG IgA titres, Fc region glycosylation. Antibody-dependent significantly increased aged 9 months 15 years day 28 days following administration (D28). The magnitude comparable levels plasma from vaccinated UK adults. Neither IgG nor titres correlated scores at D28; however, vaccine-induced decreased IgG1 sialylation. These data suggest that produces children, which associate specific glycosylation patterns region.

Occupational Stress Suppress Production of Anti-HBsAg Antibody in Nurse Staffs Following Hepatitis B Vaccination

Background and Objectives: Vaccination is the major strategy to protect nurses against infection with hepatitis B virus. However, some nurses do not produce sufficient amount of anti-HBsAg antibody required for immunity against infection. Chronic occupational stress has been proposed as a risk factor to humoral immunity. Given that nursing staff is exposed to occupational stress risk, this stud...

Anti-influenza antibody Level after Vaccination

Abstract: Introduction: Influenza is highly transmitted disease and vaccination is the most effective way to prevent influenza. This research was designed to study the variation of serum antibody level among the subjects had already been vaccinated against influenza. Materials and Methods: This research is a descriptive-analytical study, which was carried out on 196 subjects who had influenza v...

Antibody response following smallpox vaccination and revaccination.

The measurement of antibody following vaccination has been recorded in many publications. The inhibition of vaccinia haemagglutinin, because of its technical simplicity, is a method which has been commonly employed in recent years, although the complement-fixation and neutralization techniques have also been used. Some kind of neutralization test is believed to give a better measure of protecti...
